Drilled Koroit Boulder Opal Cabochon #4550
Ralph does about 95% of all our cabochons but these he doesn't do. I get these from my Australian friend when I meet up with him at the shows 3 times a year. Boulder, Koroit Opal is found in the state of Queensland, Australia where both precious and common opal forms in veins and patches of limestone. Very beautiful matrix background for the opal of sit in. These are drilled with approx. 3mm hole from side to side.
